Candy Rock Mines

Sitting upon a rocky outcrop is a small grotto-like entrance, well lit with torches; it offers a tempting place to visit. Entering its flickering depths, however, reveals the most unusual of ores. Red and white striped veins are threaded everywhere throughout the complex tunnel network, which run as deep as a person can explore. The veins never seem to run out and careful application of a pickaxe to the ore results in small blocks of the ore. Even more bizarrely, the ore seems to have a sweet taste to it, edible rock beneath the ground cannot be found anywhere else but here.
